Lydia and I met years ago when we were both playing in an orchestra. I shot her sister’s wedding in 2019, so when Lydia approached me about shooting hers, I was so excited! 2020 has been such a hard year for couples trying to plan weddings, but all through planning and during their wedding day, Lydia and Shane took everything in stride. From working within state mandates for social distancing to dealing with a torrential downpour during the reception, the two celebrated their special day with so much patience and joy. It was an honor to get to document the day.
